William J. “Bill” Stanley, Esquire attended Arkansas State University, where he was a four year letterman in football, and received his B.S. in Accounting in 1989. He earned his Juris Doctorate from the University of Arkansas School of Law in 1991. He focuses his practice on personal injury, medical malpractice, wrongful death, criminal defense and civil litigation. He is a member of the American Bar Association, Arkansas Bar Association, the American Association for Justice, the Arkansas Trial Lawyers Association, where he has served on its Board of Governors since 1997, the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, the Arkansas Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, the Craighead County Bar Association, the “Million Dollar Advocates Forum” and was named one of the “Best Lawyers in America” in the area of Criminal Defense. He was recently awarded membership in the top 100 Trial Lawyers as established by The American Trial Lawyers Association. He is licensed to practice in Arkansas as well as the United States Court of Appeals for the 8th Circuit, and the United States District Courts in Arkansas .
Bill has been practicing in Jonesboro since 1995 having focused his practice on helping people whether they be injured or facing criminal issues. He is very active in the ASU Letterman’s Club, as well as the Red Wolf Club. He also serves on the Board of Directors for the YMCA. He looks forward to helping you.
Christopher R. Thyer
Christopher R. Thyer graduated from Arkansas State University and from the University Arkansas School of Law. While in law school, he was a member of the Arkansas Law Review, the Vanderbilt National Moot Court Team, the Board of Advocates, and the Order of Barristers. He is a member of the Craighead County Bar Association and the Arkansas Bar Association.
In addition to being a partner in the Stanley & Thyer Law Firm, Christopher Thyer is also an Arkansas State Representative, representing House District 74, as well as a published author.
